Step 1: Searching your discounted list cruise prices

Using the search system and put your departure date on the left top site to find the best rates because this rate system will help you to find the best rates based on the number of people who have booked our tour package by the closing date.

After searching you can see some cruises, junks, sails or boats are appeared on the page, you can choose one with discounting rates more if you book together with people who booked before. Then all people who booked before you will pay the same best rate at the end of the closing date

Or if you like any of the cruises, Please put your departure date, your number of people in you group then click check rates to get the current price ( Your price ) but if only have to pay the Min Price ( Pay now ). The different price from Your price and Pay now it means you will get more discount if there are someone who will book the same departure date and the same cruise with you.

Our system will automatically send you the discounted rates if there is someone to book after you. So you can update the new best rates

Step 2: Payment

After you agree on what cruise to take, full payment will be required to book the cruise for you. After the payment is made, we will issue and send you the receipt.

Step 3: Passenger’s Information

The Authority in Halong Bay will require the following information of all passengers to allow staying overnight on boat in Halong Bay. Day trip passengers do not need to submit the information!

- Title (Mr, Mrs, Miss, Ms)

- Full name as it appears on the passport

- Passport number

- Nationality

- Date of birth

- Expiry date of Vietnam entry visa (If the nationality holder does not need to apply for the visa, entry date and exit date are required)

After the above information is received, we will issue the cruise voucher for you. Your booking will be completed then you can check the booking status directly with the cruise if you would like!

We can accept payment by credit cards online through Onepay which represents MasterCards in Vietnam. You can use MasterCards, Visa, Dinner Club, or American Express. We can also accept other methods such as bank wire transfer, Western Union

After accepting to book the cruise, you have to pay for it. Once we receive your payment, your cruise will be reserved. We will issue the receipt for you then and ask for the passengers’ information to complete the booking for you. After the passengers’ information is received, we will issue the cruise voucher for you. The cruise’s official contact details are printed in the voucher so you can check directly with the cruise if you would like.

When you want to cancel a booking, please send a cancellation request by writing an email to us. We do not accept a cancellation by phone or fax. Please read carefully the cancellation policy of each cruise displayed at the cruise page. We note clearly about the time of cancellation and how much will be charged for your cancellation.

Unless you book a private car, the shuttle bus from the cruise will start to pick up different guests at different hotels in the old quarter of Hanoi from 07:30 AM until 08:30 AM for the tour so please be ready during this time for us. You should inform the hotel receptionist about your cruise trip so when the bus comes, the hotel receptionist will call you. Therefore, you do not need to wait at the lobby for such a long time! Sometimes, the shuttle bus can be 5 or 10 minutes late due to traffic or other guests. If after 08:40 AM, the shuttle bus does not show up, please call the cruise directly with the phone number printed in the cruise voucher or call us to our hotline number please.

In case your hotel is located far from the old quarter of Hanoi, we will inform you if you need to go to the cruise’s office to get picked or the shuttle bus can pick you up at your hotel upon our booking confirmation!

For one day trip, the shuttle bus will take you back to your hotels in Hanoi around 08:30 PM.

For two or three day trip, the shuttle bus will take you back to your hotels in Hanoi around 04:30 PM. If the traffic is good, the bus can arrive at Hanoi as early as 03:30 PM. If not, it can be as late as 05:00 PM.  

No, I am sorry that the airport is in the opposite direction with the way from Halong Bay to Hanoi so no bus passing or going to the airport. The shuttle bus from the cruises will bring you back to hotels in the Old quarter of Hanoi around 04:30 PM, then it will take one hour by taxi from the Old quarter of Hanoi to the airport so you should be at the airport around 05:00 PM

If you take the shuttle bus from the cruises. Depending on your flight time, You can hire a private car to arrive at the airport as soon as 03:00 PM or drop off at Bac Ninh City (between Halong Bay and Noi Bai Airport) by shuttle bus  then take a taxi on your own to the airport around 04:00 PM.

For your convenience, you should bring some necessary things with you to Halong Bay such as original passports to check in, swim suite, sun glasses, hat, camera, suitable footwear for activities in Halong Bay such as climbing up steps to visit caves, kayaking, or biking  in Cat Ba islands (for some cruises only)…

For unnecessary things, you can leave them at your hotel in Hanoi. The hotel will be happy to store them for you until your return!

You’ve got a good deal and now are dreaming about an interesting trip with beautiful cabin, delicious food, friendly staff waiting for you in Halong Bay, Vietnam. You’ll be relaxing on the sundeck while the boat cruises around the rising islands in the fresh air and quiet atmosphere.

Your dream smells when you arrive at the dock and the local authority announces that all cruises are canceled due to the weather conditions while it is still sunny! Is this a joke? you may think. But it happens quite often to the cruises in Halong Bay, a world heritage site in Vietnam, epecially during the summer time from May to August.

So what will you do? If this is the first time you come to Vietnam, you may be down from the heaven to the hell as it takes 3 hours and a half by bus from Hanoi to Halong Bay already and it will take that time to return Hanoi again.

You cannot do anything about this, but you’ll feel better if you think about this situation before you go. When it happens, you can consider the following options:

- Contact your cruise’s operator, tour guide or your booking travel agent to check if your money will return to your pocket. Normally, it will be back to you in full if you book reputable cruises but in some cases, the cruise or travel agent can ask you for a little support by paying the bus trip or booking fee which is just a small money since the situation is out of their hand. How much money you will be refunded depending on where you were announced the cancellation news!

+ If you are still in Hanoi and have not started the trip yet, all money paid will be refunded to you, except the payment fee if it was used to process the payment/deposit for you already!

+ If you arrived at Halong Bay pier and the cruise informs you the bad news, you will pay the transfer fee only. Some cruises will not charge you this fee although the cruises are also disappointed like you.

+ If you are on your cruise already and are visiting Halong Bay when the bad news comes such as your cruise is not allowed to stay overnight, other arrangements will be made by the cruise for you upon your agreement. Otherwise, you will pay for the services and time that you have spent on the cruise.

- Stay overnight at a hotel in Halong City then book a day trip to visit Halong Bay in the next day. This will be a good choice if the weather seems to be better in the coming day. All hotels in Halong Bay can help you with the booking. You should check some recommended hotels before you go!

- Ask the cruise or travel agent if they have any alternatives. There are some other places near Hanoi that you can visit in one day such as Tam Coc – Bich Dong in Ninh Binh which is considered “Halong Bay on land”, or Perfume Pagoda which is also a beautiful place.

- Return Hanoi and enjoy another night in Hanoi. The hotel in Hanoi can arrange the room for you or if it is fully booked, they can also arrange for you at other hotel. Although many people don’t like Hanoi but if you just try a little bit with help from hotel receptionist or local people, you may find something interesting such as a cyclo tour through 36 streets in the old quarter of Hanoi, a water puppet show at Thang Long theatre or just a cup of famous Vietnamese coffee at a cozy restaurant to enjoy the daily life with local people.

No mater what alternative you can come up with, just prepare your mind before you get in the car and enjoy your trip!
